Obtain a Public Works Permit

New to the portal?

  • Open the Yuba County Self-Service Portal
  • Select the 'Register' link, follow prompts, and confirm your email address.
    • The portal will send you an email with a link to complete your registration.
  • Once in the portal, the user will be able to apply for permits.

Getting a permit

How do I apply for a permit in the portal?
To submit a permit application in the portal:

  • Log into the portal
  • Once logged in, select 'apply'.
  • Search for the permit you need (encroachment, grading, transportation, etc.)
  • Follow the prompts and fill out all required fields.
  • When you reach the attachments section, please upload:
    • The completed permit application
    • Any required documents
