Hey Yuba County, get your family storm-ready at our 5th Annual Fall "Be Prepared Fair"! We’ve traveled from Marysville to Linda, and now Plumas Lake! Join us Thursday, Oct. 8 in Plumas Lake for a FREE community event packed with family-friendly fun and valuable tips to keep your loved ones safe!

What can I expect?

  •  Explore emergency vehicles, including firetrucks and helicopters
  •  Get your own go-bag at our packing station
  •  Meet and chat with your local and state safety experts
  •  Enjoy a tasty bite from a variety of food trucks
  •  Score free swag and preparedness tools

Join us on Thursday, Oct. 8, 3:30 - 7 p.m. at Eufay Wood Sr. Memorial Park, River Oaks Blvd, Plumas Lake.

The Be Prepared Fair brings together our emergency responders and community to give our residents the opportunity to discuss safety and prevention for the upcoming fire season.

The fair will be held on Wednesday, April 15, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Foothill Lions Club, 5667 Fruitland Rd., Loma Rica, CA.

Yes! Our food truck partners will have food and drinks available for purchase at the fair.

Yes! The Be Prepared Fair if family friendly, and there will be activities and resources for you and your family.

Yes, dogs are allowed. Just make sure they are leashed and cleaned up after, as there may be rescued animals at the event. Please note, too, that some areas may have asphalt in likely sunny weather, so make sure your pup is prepared!
