![]() Clint Curry is a career prosecutor, who has successfully prosecuted the full range of crime from misdemeanors to murder. Clint currently serves as the elected District Attorney of Yuba County. He was first elected in 2018, and officially took office in January 2019. Re-elected to a second term in 2022, Clint continues to fight for justice. Clint was born in Yuba City and has lived most of his life in the Yuba-Sutter area. Clint graduated in 1999 from UC Davis, where he attended on an Army R.O.T.C. scholarship. Commissioned as an engineer officer, Clint served on active duty after college for four years as a platoon leader, company executive officer, and battalion staff officer. He was honorably discharged as a Captain from the United States Army at the end of his service. After the army, Clint went back to UC Davis for law school, graduating in 2007. During his time in law school, he interned for a federal judge, the Sutter County District Attorney's Office, and the Office of the Prosecutor for the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia. After law school, Clint clerked for U.S. District Court Judge James K. Singleton in Alaska before returning to the Yuba-Sutter area to serve as a deputy district attorney with the Sutter County District Attorney's Office. Clint spent the next decade prosecuting the full spectrum of criminal cases with a special emphasis on domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Clint currently lives in Yuba County with his wife of 27 years and their children. |
