Overview
A 3-mile section of Hammonton-Smartsville Road has been rehabilitated and upgraded. Prior to this project, this section of road was experiencing structural failure throughout the project limits. The road rehab and overlay repaired this section of road and extended the service life. The shoulder widening helped further protect the edge of the pavement from the loading experienced by daily traffic as well as provide a safe pull-out area for vehicles.

3-mile-long section of roadway on Hammonton-Smartsville Road from just east of Doolittle Drive to approximately 2.7 miles east of Doolittle Drive
Funding
The estimated $2.5 million project was funded from the Yuba Water Agency Grant.
