Countywide Oversight Board

Welcome to the Yuba County Countywide Oversight Board website. The seven member board was established by California Senate Bill 107 to oversee the two successor agencies within Yuba County (City of Marysville and Yuba County). The Countywide Oversight Board has a fiduciary responsibility to holders of enforceable obligations and the taxing entities that benefit from the distribution of property tax and other revenues pursuant to ABx1 26 as amended by AB 1484.

The Two successor agencies in Yuba County primarily administer and repay the enforceable obligations of the former redevelopment agencies, and dispose of the former redevelopment agencies’ non-housing properties and assets.

Yuba County Redevelopment Agency

On February 1, 2012, the Yuba County Redevelopment Agency was eliminated by the State of California's Assembly Bill No. 26. For further information, see the the State of California, Department of Finance, Redevelopment Agency Dissolution.

On March 27, 2012, the County of Yuba Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution 2012-20 becoming the Successor Agency to the Yuba County Redevelopment Agency, electing to assume the Agency's assets and responsibilities.
